Short version: if you give us your email to be notified about a game or our studio news, we use it only for that. We don't sell it, we use a double opt-in, and you can leave any time. The detail below explains exactly what we collect and your rights.
What we collect
Only what you submit through a signup form and the minimum needed to deliver it:
- Your email address.
- The list(s) you asked to join — a specific game's waitlist and/or general studio news.
- The date you signed up and confirmed.
- Your IP address transiently, only to rate-limit abuse and (with bot protection enabled) verify you're human. It is not used to profile you.
We do not require an account, and we don't collect names, payment details, or browsing history through these forms.
Our basis for using it
We process your email on the basis of your consent, which you give by submitting the form and confirming via the link we email you (double opt-in). You can withdraw consent at any time by unsubscribing.
How we use it
To send a one-time confirmation, and then only the notifications you opted into: a game launching, a new edition going live, or occasional studio news. We don't send anything you didn't ask for.
Who can see it
Your address is stored on our own self-hosted server. To actually deliver the emails we use a reputable transactional email provider acting as our processor. We never sell, rent, or trade your data, and we don't share it for anyone else's marketing.
How long we keep it
We keep your address while you're subscribed. If you don't confirm, your pending signup is periodically cleared. When you unsubscribe, we remove you from the relevant list(s); we may retain a minimal suppression record so we don't accidentally email you again.
Your choices & rights
- Unsubscribe from one game or from everything via the link in any email.
- Access or delete the data we hold about you — just ask.
- Correct anything that's wrong.

Children
This site isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If we update this policy we'll change the "last updated" date above; material changes affecting existing subscribers will be communicated by email.
